Xanax
Xanax belongs to a class of drugs called benzodiazepines and it is used to affect chemicals in the brain that may get unbalanced and cause anxiety. The medication is used to treat anxiety disorders, pain disorders, and anxiety caused by depression. The medication can also be used for other purposes than those that are listed above.If you have to purchase xanax then go to market and get registered medication and don’t try to get from the internet, because that sample of xanax may contain dangerous ingredient called haloperidol, which is dangerous for the health. You should not use the medication if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, if you are using itraconazole or ketoconazole, if you have allergic reactions to alprazolam or to other benzodiazepines like chlordiazepoxide, clorazepate, diazepam, lorazepam, or oxazepam.
You should inform your doctor if you have allergic reactions to any drugs or if you have asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, other breathing problems, glaucoma, kidney or liver disease, history of depression or suicidal thoughts or behavior, history of drug or alcohol addiction. In the above conditions, you can use the medication but you have to carry out some special tests during the treatment. The medication belongs to FDA pregnancy category D which can cause birth defects in an unborn baby. If you are pregnant or could be pregnant during the treatment, first consult with your doctor and keep using an effective form of birth control in the treatment. Xanax passes into milk of nursing mother and may be harmful to the nursing baby, so if you are beast-feeding a baby, then tell your doctor before taking the medication.
Take the medication as prescribed to you by your doctor and avoid taking the medication in larger amount. You should keep visiting your doctor because your doctor may change your dose to get best results from the medication. You should not crush or break an extended-release of medicine. It is formulated to release the drug slowly in the stomach, but if you break it then it will release the drug at once. If you are using the liquid form of medication then you should get a measuring spoon to have a correct dose of the medication. Place the medication at room temperature and away from heat and moisture.
If you miss a dose then take it as soon as you remember and if the time is near to take the next scheduled dose then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular scheduled dose and avoid taking double doses at the same time. If you suspect overdose then get emergency medical help. The symptoms of overdose include extreme drowsiness, confusion, muscles weakness, loss of balance or coordination, feeling light-headed, fainting, or coma.
If you experience any signs of the allergic reactions like hives, difficulty in breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, then consult with your doctor immediately. There are also some serious side effects. If they occur then stop the medication and contact with your doctor immediately. These include hyperactivity, agitation, hostility, hallucinations, feeling light-headed, fainting, depressed mood, thoughts of suicide or hurting yourself, unusual risk-taking behavior, decreased inhibitions, seizures, urinating less than usual, muscle twitching, tremor, and jaundice.
